Primary Trauma Care Courses
i) Primary Trauma Care Course for First Responders (PTC –a one day course) First responders are people who are the first to be present after the accident, for instance bystanders, ambulance attendants, policemen, media personnel, hotel-staff, school teachers etc. The first hour after the injury is referred to as the “Golden Hour”. Proper management in the ‘Golden Hour” saves lives and reduce disability following TBI. Creating a network of First Responders provides the best chance that the victims will receive the best immediate aid possible. |
